The bathroom is one of the most difficult areas in the house to augment with prosperity friendly objects simply because it is the location of the toilet.This is particularly disastrous if the toilet is located right in your southwest money drawing corner of your home. Ways to get around this are:
 
Hanging chimes on the handle of your toilet to disperse bad energy. (more of this is discussed in my blog Bizarre Feng Shui Tip”  – click on the Feng Shui For Prosperity category.)
 
Always keep the toilet lid closed to prevent money from being “flushed away”. Money is represented by the water element in Feng Shi. It is also a good idea to keep all plugs inserted in drains when not in use.
 
Try to have a bathroom with a gold, red, purple or green color scheme as these colors symbolize wealth. If you don’t paint the walls, having your linens and towels in these colors help. If you only want to paint one wall paint the southwestern wall red.
 
Keep floral waters and water based products in the Southeastern corner to sympathize with the water element.
 
Strategically place mirrors so they reflect faucets and showerheads but avoid have them reflecting any drains.
 
Make sure that both your bath mat and shower mat are round as opposed to square.
