Hair Removal Pain and Gain
Sponsored post:
Having an interest in magical things is all very well and good, but nobody likes a witch with excess hair!
I usually use waxing but the pain is getting a bit much, as my skin is sensitive. Apparently sugaring is a good option for Body hair removal – it is similar to waxing but the gel only sticks to the hair and not the skin. This might stop me from looking like a beetroot for a day after I have done the waxing.
Professional waxing from a salon is pretty expensive, but sometimes I still like to get it done, especially my eyebrows. My sister plucked her eyebrows into shape for years, and she wasn’t too good at it so she kind of looks a bit untidy now unless she draws them in with a pencil (hi sis!). I heard somewhere you can get your eyebrows tattooed on – kind of like that permanent makeup stuff. Anyway, that is why I like to go to the salon to get my eyebrows done – plus the fact that waxing your own eyebrows is nearly impossible lol.
My friend Jen uses an epilator – they’re like a little machine thingy that goes along and plucks out all your hairs. Not too keen on that. She keeps getting in growing hairs that turn into little zits.
Another supposedly great way to remove hair is to use one of the depletion mousse sprays. That stuff that just melts hair off your body. I don’t think it can be used on the face though, probably the skin is too sensitive – and imagine if you slipped with a bit? You might loose a chunk of your head hair or an eyebrow!
No, I think I will stick with the traditional methods. If sugaring works as well as waxing but with less pain I’m going to be very happy J![]()
