Not everyone has a fate line and people get worried when they can’t find it.The Fate Line runs from the bottom of the palm near the wrist, up through the center of the palm towards the middle finger. This line is represents things that cannot be changed and circumstances beyond the individual’s control. A line of fate that seems to be changing  can also show the persons choices and their consequences.

Not everybody has a fate line so don’t be too disappointed if you don’t find it on your hand. If it is missing it is usual an indication of an uneventful and even boring life.

The Life Line runs from the edge of the palm above the thumb  (and is often joined with the head line)  travels towards the wrist. This line represents the person’s vitality physical health and general well being.  The deeper it is, the stronger the person’s life force is. 

The life line can reflect major life changes, including traumas, physical injuries, and relocations. It also can indicate the length of life. However many contemporary palm readers generally do not believe that the length of the life line matters at all but rather the depth of the lineinto the skin matters more.

One thing that should be mentioned here is that palmists do not necessary measure the length of a life according to the length of the life line. Although a life line that extends strongly from the edge of the palm just above the palm downwards to the wrist is considered to be a good sign, anything shorter is not necessarily a prediction of the age of death.  Although shorter life lines might be a cause for a concern, it is fainter or feathered looking life lines that reveal the extent of life.

Often a shorter life line indicates life cataclysms, brain injuries or a physical disability rather than an actual shortage of years left to live.

Traditionally it is the hand that the person writes with that is read by a palm reader also kown as  the dominant hand. The lines on this hand change through the years. The lines on your dominant hand reflect choices and the totality of your experience.This is why the dominant hand (usually the right hand) is the hand that is most often read.

The other hand is your destiny hand.  It contains the features that you were born with and represents personality traits and other characteristics that are not easily changed. It generally remains the same throughout your lifetime.

 
Purists will disagree with me but it is fine to read either hand.  Some modern day hand analysts refer to your left hand of what you came to this life with and the right hand as what you can make of it in this world.
