The Penny Ritual

This is a very simple ritual of unknown origin. It is adaptable to Feng Shui simply because it is a common practice to leave a bowl of coins by the front door to attract wealth.

All you need is a goblet, vase or pretty bowl of some kind. A cast iron bowl of some kind is good because the cast iron bowl means financial security in Feng Shui.  Red is a good color for this vessel and so is purple and gold.

The best place to put this bowl is by the front door, along with a money frog or in your office.  Every day you simply drop a penny intot he bowl and at the same time visualize the circulation of more prosperity in your life.  You make sure that you do this every day while imagining your finances being added to or growing. The single penny is a humble offering that represents your openness to receiving more wealth in the future.

The Red Envelope Ritual

Ever wondered what those little red envelopes that are sold in China town and on Feng Shui sites are for Usually they are decorated with symbols of fish, happy children, ships and fruit.  The Chinese use them giving lucky money away on special occasions but can also use these red envelopes to increase the circulation of prosperity in your life.

Every time you get a large sum of cash, you are to take nine cents, nine dollars or ninety dollars and deposit it in a red envelope. If you can’t find the red envelopes which often have images of Chinese prosperity symbols, money ingot or pears on them then you can use plain red envelopes

You then put the money in nine red envelopes and hide them in public places for other people to find.  Another tact would be to make out nine checks to favorite charities, stuff them inside red envelopes and mail them anonymously. For this Feng Shui ritual to work you have to make sure that nobody sees you dropping off or hiding the envelopes.

You can find more rituals for prosperity in my book Creating Money.
