It was a glass bowl or box filled with ferns pines and other plants that needed some dampness to survive. These amazing ferneries would also contain miniature fountains shaped like cathedreals or religious statues. Inside would be a tiny world decorated with moss, stained glass and lace.</font></p>

</font></font><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">You can make a simple fernery using a covered fish bowl. Place rocks or crystals in the bottom and then top it with top soil and moss. Ferns, ivy and moss should be planted on top and sprinkled with water.Â  You can then decorate it with tiny religious statues.</font></p>
