Bizarre New Feng Shui Prosperity Tip
Every now and then a Feng Shui tip comes along that I just have to share with my clients and readers simply because it is a bit way out there. If you know anything about Feng shui you know that the toilet is considered to be the place in the home where money energy is said to be drawn away. This is because in Feng Shui, the flow of money is symbolized by water and the toilet is nothing but a giant drain (the metaphor is of course is flushing money down the drain)This is also why you should always keep the lid of the toilet down and avoid having the toilet reflected in any mirrors. The same is true of your bathtub drain or sink drain. A mirror reflecting any of these doubles your chances of financial loss.
As you may or may not know chimes are considered to be the ultimate remedy for dispersing bad energy so the latest is to place a small set of chimes on the handle of your toilet. This is so that every time you flush the toilet the chimes ring they disperse bad energy.
I have one friend who has taken this bit of advice very seriously and after the publication of my book Creating Money informed me that in fact the ultimate esoteric treatment for dispersing prosperity sucking energy around your toilet is to place a tiny bell or chime right inside the tank on the flush lever on the inside of the toilet as opposed to on the handle. Okay, whatever works. Of course I suggest that you practice this with some care as I imagine that this could affect the operation of your flushing lever if you are not careful. I have done some surfing around and found two sites that sell chimes and bells that are small and lightweight enough to hang on a toilet handle.
