To find a mentor or draw helpful people into your life you should activate the Northwestern section of your garden. White, yellow and orange flowers best suit this area. Good choices would be pink stargazer lilies, the lotus, passion flower, sweet pea, the sunflower, tulips, daffodils, irises, chrysanthemums, carnations and pansies.

  

Trees and foilage that accentuate chi in this earea include willow, walnut, lemon, peach, rowan and dogwood. Herbs to plant would be lemon balm, sage (for a wise mentor), rosemary, pennyroyal and clover. Vegetables that symbolize wisdom are fennel, peppers, squash, pumpkins and tomatoes.
